13th Annual
Baltimore Boychoir Festival.
Its back! The Baltimore Boychoir Festival brings boychoirs together from throughout the United States for one spectacular performance. As usual, we plan to have 200 to 250 choristers on stage for the concert! The Maryland State Boychoir is pleased to announce that Paul Rardin will serve as the Guest Director for the thirteenth annual Baltimore Boychoir Festival. Dr. Rardin is Chair of Choral Activities at the Boyer College of Music and Dance at Temple University. Previously, he was Associate Director of Choirs at the Univeristy of Michigan where he taught undergraduate conducting and conducted the Men’s Glee Club, University Choir, and Michigan Youth Chamber Singers. Prior to that, Professor Rardin taught at Towson University where, for twelve years, he served as Director of Choirs. Dr. Rardin’s choirs have performed in such venues as the Boston Symphony Hall, Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, and the Washington National Cathedral. We are thrilled he will be joining us!

Do you know a boy who loves to sing? Having entered its 25th year, the boychoir fosters love for singing, celebrates diversity in the community, and teaches a tolerance for differences. Through extensive rehearsing, public performance, and commitment to the organization, our young men develop self-esteem, self-discipline, and character; outcomes of which are reflected in the organization’s mission.
